Be More Attentive Than Goldfish

It seems we are becoming a society with ever decreasing attention spans.
Researchers in Canada surveyed 2,000 participants and concluded that due to increased smartphone usage, humans have a shorter attention span than goldfish.
Goldfish.
They’re believed to have an attention span of 9 seconds compared with 8 seconds for humans, down from — wait for it — our high of 12 seconds.
Seriously.
A goldfish?
Chimpanzees go long at 26 seconds, and my dog by comparison, would make freakin’ memory master Jerry Lucas smile at 2 minutes.
We’ve all seen people zoned into their smartphones. Walking. Driving. Walking into people. Driving into things.
Somebody sprinkles a few dehydrated flakes on the surface and a goldfish, A GOLDFISH, would beat us to the top by a full second. In the swimming world this might as well be the length of an Olympic sized pool.
A goldfish.
We must do better people.
BE F-G AWESOME TODAY!
